Material Compliance Documentation

Our focus is to address customers’ needs and requirements by providing appropriate levels of relevant information concerning specific environmental directives. We work closely with our manufacturers to review and update applicable environmental product information on a regular basis.

Where necessary, it is our goal to make related manufacturer environmental directives and regulatory information available to our customers for the applicable brands and/or products we distribute. Where possible, we will continue to maintain the most current product information needed to support or comply with the environmental directives that we collectively face, and will gladly entertain any comments, suggestions, or questions pertaining to our policy statements and information sharing practices.

Requests for specific RoHs, REACH and/or Conflict Mineral compliance information should be directed to our website.

RoHs Compliance Documentation

EU Directive 2011/65/EU, (RoHs) Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electronic and Electrical Equipment, was enacted to further enhance the prevention of hazardous substances from entering the production process, thereby keeping them out of the waste stream. RoHS compliance within the supply chain entails passing along, to an end-user, relevant product-level specifications provided by manufacturers to satisfy all applicable regulatory requirements.

Productivity, Inc is aware of the Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive, commonly referred to as RoHS, and we are committed to helping our customers comply with applicable RoHS reporting requirements.

As a distributor of electromechanical equipment and related components, we do not design, manufacture, or control the content of any of the products that we sell. Therefore, we rely upon our manufacturer partners to advise as to the RoHS compliance status of products we distribute.

REACH Regulation Compliance

REACH is a European Community Regulation on chemicals and their safe use which stands for Registration, Evaluation, and Authorization of Chemical substances. The pre-registration phase started in June 2008.

The aim of REACH is to improve the protection of human health and the environment through the better and earlier identification of the intrinsic properties of chemical substances.

The REACH Regulation gives greater responsibility to industry to manage the risks from chemicals and to provide safety information on the substances. Manufacturers and importers will be required to gather information on the properties of their chemical substances, which will allow their safe handling, and to register the information in a central database run by the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) in Helsinki Finland. REACH provisions will be phased-in over 11 years.

Conflict Mineral Compliance

The term Conflict Minerals refers to specific raw materials that originate from a particular geographic region of the African continent. Similar to Conflict Diamonds, Conflict Minerals are mined in areas where political conflict is occurring. This conflict is believed to be funded, in part, through the mining and trading of these minerals: Tantalum, Tin, Tungsten, and Gold.

As a distributor of electromechanical equipment and related components, we do not design, manufacture, or control the content of any products. Therefore, we rely upon our manufacturer partners to advise as to the conflict mineral status of the products we distribute.

Please note: Because Productivity does not control the material content of the products we sell, Productivity cannot complete web links, spreadsheets, and/or sign off on customer letters or documents due to liability issues.

We understand that some customers require more information than we are currently able to provide. In such situations, we recommend that customers contact the relevant manufacturer(s) directly for more detailed information. In support of this activity, we will provide manufacturer contact information as requested.
