The Basic Mill classes are intended for individuals that will setup and run a Haas Mill. See detailed descriptions to determine which course(s) you will want to attend. You may take one class or the series, depending on your machine configuration. PLEASE NOTE: All classes are taught using the NextGen Control.

Advanced Mill Programming
This 2-day Advanced Programming Class is intended for individuals that use G-code to program Haas mills. The course covers more in depth program formatting, including Haas Programmer Optimizer, Advanced Tool Management, Tool Length Offset and Cutter Radius Compensation Techniques; Arc on/Arc off with Tool Compensation; G68 and G51 Programming; Fixture offsets; Datum Shifts; G10 Usage; Sub-Programs; G12-G13; Helical Milling and 4th Axis Milling.
The 1-day Basic Operator Class is intended for individuals that will set up and run a Haas Mill. The course covers use of the Haas control panel, download and upload of programs, setting of tool/work offsets, production set up and operation of the machine tool.
Mill G&M Code Programming
This 2-day Basic Programming Class is intended for individuals that use G-code to program Haas mills. The course covers program format, linear and circular interpolation, various canned cycles used for drilling, tapping, boring, pocket milling and threading.
VPS Conversational Programming for Mills
The VPS Conversational Programming Class is for Operators that will set up and operate Haas Mills using the Next Generation Control. Focusing on the VPS (Visual Programming System) the course covers basic operation of the Haas NGC control panel, download/upload of programs, setting tool/work offsets.
