Haas Lathe Training – Minneapolis, MN
The Lathe classes are intended for operators and programmers that will setup and run Haas lathes. You may take one class or the entire series, depending on your machine configuration. Full class descriptions will help you decide which classes are best for you. PLEASE NOTE: Classes use the NextGen Operating System for process demonstrations.

Bar Feeder Operator
This half-day class is designed for individuals that have a Haas Bar Feeder and will cover general set up, programming and operation of the bar feeder with the Haas Lathe.
Lathe Operator
The one day Lathe Operator class covers the use of the Haas Next Generation control panel, download and upload of programs, the setting of tool geometry offsets, work coordinate offsets, production set up and operation of the machine tool.
Lathe G&M Code Programming
The two day Lathe G&M Code Programming class is for individuals that use G-code to program Haas lathes. The course covers program format, linear and circular interpolation, tool nose radius compensation and various canned cycles used for drilling, turning, boring and threading.
VPS Conversational Programming for Lathes
The VPS Conversational Programming Class is for Operators that will set up and operate Haas Lathes using the Next Generation Control. Focusing on the VPS (Visual Programming System) the course covers basic operation of the Haas NGC control panel, download/upload of programs, setting of tool geometry and work coordinate offsets.
