RoboFlex® CS

RoboFlex CS (Conveyor System) is offered in two different sizes, each size using in/out bound part conveyors, enabling a more flexible layout and the opportunity to add two machines in one cell. The smaller package is built around the FANUC LR-Mate 200iC robot and can handle parts up to 5Kg (11 pounds).  The larger package can be used with FANUC M10i, M16iB/20, and M20i robots, These equipment packages are a versatile and economical way to bring untended automatic parts loading into your manufacturing process. The innovative, yet simple design incorporates the field proven “FANUC Robotics’ M-16iB/20” industrial robot and simple set of conveyors, alignment devices, and perimeter guarding into a self-contained parts handling cell.  This package is designed to load and unload parts into a wide variety of machine tools or industrial manufacturing equipment. Pre-engineered to be versatile and maximize investment

The production cell is pre-engineered to provide easy application in many different situations and is capable of running different parts. New parts can be added quickly with only minimal investment for new handling hardware. The work cell can incorporate one or two machines. Electrical interface is straight forward and can accommodate many different styles of machine tools. The RoboFlex CS equipment package is available with several different options to further enhance its versatility (See “Robotic Accessories” for details). The unit is also capable of running different parts. New parts can be added quickly with only minimal investment for new handling hardware.

High-speed part exchanges

The “Fanuc Robotics’ M-16iB/20” robot will typically exchange parts in 15 seconds. Additionally, uptime is greater since the robot works through breaks and is always ready to change parts the very instant that the machine requests another part.

Simple operation

Our touch panel display allows complete operation of the cell from one location. Start-up is quick and easy. Your operators don’t need to be robotic specialists in order to operate this unit. The most common functions are easy to identify, and our simple message center will always tell your maintenance personnel what the status of the cell.

Pre-defined part handling program

This unit comes to you ready to handle parts. All robot handling points are pre-defined and only need a quick “touch-up” during installation in your plant. New parts can be easily added by copying the existing handling program and teaching the locations of these handling points via the operator teach pendant. .

Quick change gripper mount

The quick change gripper mount allows the operator to change gripper hand assemblies in seconds. The standard mount contains mounting faces for up to three gripper units, and will eliminate the need to change screws, gripper fingers, and air lines. When used on a system that will be changed over frequently, this will improve the uptime and consistency of set-ups and shorten the changeover time considerably.
